Our ongoing training program in bioenergetic therapy is a collaborative effort with the Massachusetts Society for Bioenergetic Analysis (MSBA).
The program is currently accepting new members to start in October 2021. The leaders are faculty members from the ACSBA and the MSBA. Contact us for more information at AtlanticCanadaBio@gmail.com.
Join us online for small process groups to “hold”, mirror, and support group members in their personal and relational growth.
Do you wish you had a “therapy buddy” to support and encourage your growth process? Do you struggle with the “aloneness” of difficult feelings like shame, anger, sadness, grief, or COVID uncertainty and conflict? Do you hope to live in a more grounded and embodied way, and be more present to yourself and others? Then this group could be for you.
The group will be facilitated by Carol Melnick and Adela Gorodzinsky, CBTs with the ACSBA and Central Canada Society for Bioenergetic Analysis, respectively, and will meet for three hours on 7 Sundays from October 17th to December 5th, 2021.
Join us for weekly online exercise classes on Wednesdays from 19:00-20:00 or on Fridays from 12:30-13:30 (Atlantic). Bioenergetic exercises work with the energy patterns of the body through breathing, grounding, stretching, and expression in order to release muscular tension and chronic holding.
These classes are intended for people with experience with bioenergetics or similar modalities. Contact Laurie Ure at the MSBA to find out if they’re right for you: email@example.com.
Bio Basics is a 6-session online program to introduce the basic concepts and techniques of bioenergetic therapy. The teachers are faculty from the Bioenergetic Training Program, which is jointly sponsored by the ACSBA and the Massachusetts Society for Bioenergetic Analysis.
The series will run on six Saturday mornings between October 23rd, 2021 and March 19th, 2022. There will also be free 3-hour workshop on September 18th to help you decide if Bio Basics is for you.
More information will be posted over the summer. In the meantime, you can contact us at AtlanticCanadaBio@gmail.com.
