Join us for a week of growth and play in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, August 16 to 22, 2025.
The retreat is hosted by Ailsa Keppie and Declan King at Our Celtic Hearth in Grand Pré, Nova Scotia. It is a week-long experience of community living and personal growth. Our time together will include individual and group therapy, movement, creativity, and Qigong. This is a unique opportunity in a safe and supportive atmosphere.
Your therapists for the week will be Laurie Ure, Angela Funari, and Dan Beaudette. Laurie is a social worker and certified bioenergetic therapist with over 30 years of experience. She has a private practice in Gloucester, MA. Angela is a Registered Counselling Therapist (Candidate) in Halifax, NS and has completed the Bioenergetic Analysis Training Program. Dan is a Licensed Counselling Therapist (Candidate) in Fredericton, NB and has also completed the training program.
This online program provides a thorough introduction to the theory and techniques of contemporary Bioenergetic Analysis. Each session will include both didactic and experiential learning. Taught in a group format, the course offers time for participants to explore their personal responses to the topics in some depth and to connect with group members.
The program leaders are certified bioenergetic therapists and trainers from the Central Canada, Atlantic Canada, Massachusetts and Southern California Societies for Bioenergetic Analysis.
The program is divided into two series of three sessions each. The Spring 2025 sessions are on 16 March, 27 April, and 18 May; the Fall sessions are on 14 September, 26 October, and 9 November. All sessions run from 1:00-4:15 Atlantic time.
The fee for each session is $325 USD for early registration ( by 1 March for spring and 1 September for fall) and $425 USD after that.
