I look back at retreat as a sacred threshold, from which a pathway to resolution and reclamation emerged. I experienced an expansiveness, vitality, and capacity in my body that has felt elusive for some time. I left retreat feeling a renewed sense of enthusiasm for my life and my future. The therapists were attuned, skilful, and supportive. I witnessed their care and compassion at every juncture, and I felt their stability and strength as they invited me to lean into my growing edge. This retreat feels like summer camp, with therapy! Every activity, from qi gong to African drumming, felt playful and joyful. Our hosts, Ailsa, Declan provided a welcoming, clean, and grounded space, nourishing meals, and delightful gardens. I treasure the deep connections, healing, and levity of spirit reawakened during my time at retreat.
